Kelsey's Story:
(3/17/08) Kelsey Christensen is an amazingly brave and beautiful little 2 year old. In January of this year she was diagnosed with a metastatic pineoblastoma a very serious form of brain cancer. She currently has multiple tumors in her brain and countless tumors completely down her spinal cord. She is currently receiving high dose chemotherapy and will soon receive a stem cell transplant. This form of cancer is so severe that is usually demands radiation treatment, but for young Kelsey that isn't even an option until she is at least 3. The tumors and medicine not only make it hard for Kelsey to sleep and eat, but has also caused her to develop diabetes insipidus. She is spending the vast majority of her time in the hospital. Despite all this, Kelsey still strives to be a two year old little girl. She loves to eat pizza and tater tots! Her favorite cartoon is Dora the Explorer and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She also loves playing at the park! Sparrow Money raised will help her family pay for transportation costs to the hospital, bill payments and items for Kelsey's care
