Jubal is a 2-year-old little boy who loves to play outside, color, and be with his family. He is the youngest boy in a family of eight children. His big brother Sully is his biggest hero.

On February 16, 2022, the day before his second birthday, Jubal accidentally walked into a moving car and suffered major injuries.

Jubal was flown to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland and was immediately placed on life support, feeding tubes, and breathing tubes.

Jubal suffered major brain damage and experienced a stroke on the left side of his body.

The level of damage is still unknown and only time will tell, but doctors say he may not ever be able to walk or see again.

Doctors have told Jubal’s family that he may not ever be the boy he once was, but his family is not giving up hope that Jubal will make a recovery.

This tragic accident reminds us all that sometimes life is hard and very unfair. No matter how careful we are, sometimes hard things still happen.

Jubal will remain in the ICU at Doernbecher until he is stable enough to be released.

Jubal will be adopted as a Sparrow to Brixner Jr. High School. Brixner Students will work hard to raise money for Jubal through sponsored community service.
