Bryson is a bright, determined, and enthusiastic 5-year-old boy who loves Baby Yoda! His favorite colors are blue and gold and always has a smile on his face!

nIn January of 2021, Bryson went down for a nap at school and his teacher had a tough time waking him up after complaining his head and neck hurt.

nHis parents took him to the hospital, but doctors did not seem concerned. Bryson continued to sleep for nearly 18 hours a day and was unable to keep food down.

nOn February 15, after four urgent care visits, Bryson had an MRI where doctors discovered a brain tumor.

nAt the age of four, Bryson had brain surgery, where doctors removed both the tumor and fluid around the brain. Biopsies revealed he had a rare type of aggressive brain cancer called ATRT. He started chemotherapy a month later.

nBryson has a long fight ahead with chemotherapy and the side effects that come with all the treatments. Despite all of this, he is a fighter and never lets anything get him down.

nBryson will be adopted as a Sparrow to West Sylvan Middle School. Students will work hard to raise money for Bryson through sponsored community service.
