Sydney is an adorable 4-year-old girl who loves music, being outside, and exploring with her family.

She was born with Spastic Quadriplegias Cerebral Palsy, and all 4 of her limbs are affected.

Sydney was born not breathing for the first 7 minutes of her life then placed on a cooling mat to help bring her temperature down. She then went into a coma for 3 days.

Sydney loves her older sister, Jordyn who is like a mommy to her, helping her parents take good care of her. Sydney also has a little brother, Tripten, who loves to climb all over Sydney.

Sydney has several daily seizures. She has a special wheelchair and walker to help her move around.

Sydney must have a feeding tube, regular doctor visits, and therapy to help her. Through it all, she brings her family so much laughter and joy.

Surgeries help Sydney’s body to grow properly. She is scheduled for a large hip surgery soon. Lots of kids who use wheelchairs need this surgery.

Sydney will be adopted as a Sparrow to Thurston Middle School. Students will work hard to raise money for Sydney through sponsored community service.
