Everleigh is a happy 3-year-old little girl who loves her family, animals, and being a little “cowgirl.”
In January of 2023, Everleigh was emergency airlifted to Portland after not feeling well for several days.
After arriving at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, doctors diagnosed her with a form of cancer called infant acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with a KMT2A rearrangement gene.
These types of leukemia cause a threat to Everleigh’s kidneys, brain, and spinal fluid, among other organs. When she was first diagnosed, 90% of her body was full of cancer. Her medical team sprang into action and entered Everleigh into an aggressive treatment plan, which she has been receiving for the last two years.
Everleigh is currently being tested for a possible bone marrow transplant. Her older sister, Ella, is a match and will donate her bone marrow with the hopes of saving Everleigh’s life.
