10th Annual Dancing With The Rogue Valley Stars! - 11/10/2018 - North Medford High School
Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars is a local dance competition that exists not only as a fun family friendly event, but also as a significant fundraiser for the Sparrow Clubs program in Southern Oregon! 2018 marks the 10-Year-Annivesary of this popular annual event! This year, eleven local "Stars" will be partnered with experienced dancers and each pair, over the course of 9-10 weeks, will learn a two-minute choreographed routine in one of several ballroom dance styles. On Saturday, November 10, 2018, our Stars and their Partners will compete in front of judges and a live audience for the title. Awards will be given for Judge's Choice (1st, 2nd, 3rd), People's Choice (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and the "Shining Star" award will be presented to the Star who raises the most money for Sparrow Clubs!
Southern Oregon Sparrow Clubs is the primary beneficiary of this fundraising event, with proceeds supporting the work of empowering kids to help other kids in medical need. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be used to promote the art of ballroom dance throughout Southern Oregon communities.
