Carson's Story:

Carson was born on 9/29/10. At 27 weeks gestation, the Champines found out that Carson had suffered a brain bleed and had incurred severe brain injuries. He was not expected to live long after he was born. Carson is now 1 1/2 years old and thriving. He has hydrocephalus which is cared for by a shunt. He is visually impaired and has cerebral palsy. Carson is a joyful young boy with a ready smile and occasional laughs. The family will use the support from Sparrow funds to pay for therapy and medical needs.
