A club completes their Sparrow project and fundraising efforts usually within one semester to one school year. However, funds that are raised for a sparrow project can remain in the designated account for your child for several months after the project ends. Those funds are reserved  for the Sparrow family to request as long as there still exists a need.

We clearly communicate to our families that sparrow funds are a gift (much like wish-granting organizations give) but are intended to be used to meet your practical and urgent needs. We want to make sure our families know that a Sparrow project only provides short-term relief and is not intended for long-term reliance.
