A club completes their Sparrow project and fundraising efforts usually within one semester to one school year. However, funds that are raised for a sparrow project can remain in the designated account for your child for several months after the project ends. Those funds are reserved 100% for the Sparrow family to request as long as there still exists a need.

We clearly communicate to our families that sparrow funds are a gift (much like wish-granting organizations give) but are intended to be used to meet your practical and urgent needs. We want to make sure our families know that a Sparrow project only provides short-term relief and is not intended for long-term reliance.
