This event will provide all participants with an opportunity to have a fun day of golf, food, and entertainment while supporting a worthy cause.

Remembering MORIAH MCNEIL
Moriah McNeil was the daughter of former NFL player Emanuel McNeil, who currently administers the Progressive Educational Program at Highland Springs High School. In May 2002, Moriah was diagnosed with Fibrosarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer that normally attacks the bones. Diagnosed at the early age of 7 years old, young Moriah demonstrated a resilient soul in her battle with cancer. On April 20, 2004, young Moriah surrendered her battle with this deadly disease. To honor Moriah, her annual golf tournament serves as a fundraiser for SPARROW CLUBS USA, which supported Moriah and her family through her battle with cancer.

SPARROW CLUBS USA is a national 501(c) 3 non-profit organization of school-based clubs that assists children in medical crises. Through community service and fundraising projects, Sparrow Clubs support children with life threatening illnesses or chronic disabilities and whose families face financial hardship because of these medical conditions.

Individual schools and youth groups are paired with a qualified local child, often a classmate, who is facing a medical crisis. Sparrow Clubs provide young people with the means to aid sick children within their community. For more information on SPARROW CLUBS USA, visit… www.sparrowclubs.org

THE PURPOSE
Emanuel McNeil founded The Moriah McNeil Memorial Celebrity Golf Classic in 2004, to honor the memory of his daughter Moriah. In addition to honoring Moriah McNeil, the golf tournament will raise money and bring awareness to SPARROW CLUBS USA, an organization that assists families that have children with life threatening illnesses.

Please join us at the 5th Annual Moriah McNeil Memorial Celebrity Golf Tournament as we honor the memory of Moriah and bring awareness to SPARROW CLUBS USA.
