Sparrow Clubs USA National Board of Directors

Mark Mintz (Board President) 

• Mark is a Financial Advisor for Banc of America Financial Services Inc. Prior to that he served as an officer in the Navy for 20 years.

Tom Halvorson PhD (Vice President)

• Tom is a  Professor at University of Washington in Seattle.

Mike Simpson (Treasurer)   

• Mike owns and operates a dental lab. He and Liz also are partners in a scuba diving business. They have been involved with working with individuals and couples in the area of personal finance from a biblical perspective. Mike and Liz have also been involved in stewardship with accounting and church finances.

Dawn Crutchfield  

• Dawn is the Director for the Office for Black Catholics of the Diocese of Richmond in VA.

Nancy Wilson

• Nancy is the Principal of St. Catherine School in Seattle, WA.

Steve Mezich

• Steve is one of our founding board members since 1995. He was the principal at Kamiakin Jr High when his students rallied to save Michael Leeland's life. Steve is currently principal at Rose Hill Jr High School in Redmond, WA.

Jeff Leeland  (Executive Director and Founder)

• Jeff and his wife Kristi are founders of Sparrow Clubs USA. Their son Michael was the impetus of the fundraising project at Kamiakin Jr High in Kirkland WA which inspired the concept of Sparrow Clubs USA. Jeff has served as the organization's Executive Director since 1995. Jeff is an ex officio board member as well.
